So, after having a rather random dream last night, I figure others probably have done this as well. I can never remember if we've done this topic before, but just go with the flow, okay?
Why not share some of your random/crazy/awesome (or all-of-the-above) dreams relating to the show? Maybe it was about being Dirk Niblick, appearing in a math-tastic music video, or perhaps you solved your own Mathnet case. Whatever it might be, let it out (you never know, maybe some new concept or revival material might come of it)!
I'll go ahead and share mine; I've had others, but this is the one I remember at the moment. Somehow, CTW/SW came to their senses and revived the show. Most of the material was just like we've come to expect, except Mathnet. They'd considered making it strictly a cartoon, but we convinced them (through our power in numbers, I suppose) to make it live action like the original.
They brought in a new partner for George (although I don't remember seeing him there at all); she looked like Pat, but wasn't (it was assumed Pat was living and working in L.A., or at least another branch of Mathnet). This "new" lady was Canadian, however, and even had a Canadian accent and soforth. No idea what her name was, though.
Suddenly, a big surprise sprung up - Kate appeared on-screen! I remember bursting out "KATE!", kind of like George did in the "Rear Terrace" episode. I was just that excited, I guess. After that, I don't remember what happened, but I know the ladies were going somewhere to meet up with George, who had located their next case out in the field. Apparently, each case was going to be left up to the audience, who were allowed to send in their own ideas and cases, including writing entire episodes (hrm, not a bad idea, eh?).
So there ya go! I haven't watched an episode in ages now, but my brain still very much keeps me entertained.
Now...who's next?

Hi Jill,
Thanks for bringing this topic up, as I've had SQ1/Mathnet related dreams time to time. One of mine that stands out, was they did a reunion show years later where K&G got married! Pat and Debbie were bridesmaids, and Kate's daughter (from that fanfic I found online) was the flower girl. Kate's wedding dress looked like the one Beverly wore in that 'Quantum Leap' episode.
I've had more dreams about the show, usually K&G related   Just use your imagination... |
