I got an email a couple weeks ago from a teacher who saw my site and wanted the videos on cd for her classroom. I put together a ~200 MB cd of all the clips (non mathnet) I could find on the internet - real video, mpeg, and windows media.

If anyone wants a free copy of the cd for classroom use, let me know. I will send it out free of charge. If you want it for your own for personal use, please send $7 (s&h and to offset the free ones) paypal to ellery@pokegravy.com or email me for my mail address.

Anyway, the reason I'm posting is to share her response to it:

thank you so much for the cd. my kids, who are predominately black and mexican think it is just the funniest thing. i told them there is other stuff out there beside rapping about naked girls and sex. thanks again

Welcome, Lreh83!

I have never heard of the Colin Powell academy. He must have been really something to have a school named after him.

But I myself always thought of a Square One greatest hits CD, and wouldn't that be great? All those great Square one songs! And it would even be given in a PBS pledge drive!

And that greatest hits cd... That's a great idea. I've thought of it myself too. It would be so much fun to make and would make those long drives a little more fun...

How cool, Colin Powell Academy! That man would make a great President if he ever wanted to do that...but that's not important right now.

Ooh, a CD with videos? Hrm, not a bad idea! I had someone offer me a CD that had some stuff on it too, I wonder if it's the same person? If not, I'll have to contact them either way, as I haven't replied yet. I get a lot of people asking for episodes of anything SQTV, though mainly Mathnet (it's probably the #1 question E-mailed to me). Many wish they could find this stuff easily on the 'Net too. I know there are legal technicalities possibly at hand, but as long as people are using it in the classroom *COUGHS*, I don't see why it should be a problem. I'm all for supporting our educational system.

Interesting stuff you have on your CD. And I was wondering if you could send me a copy of the cd?

It would really make my day if you did.

I heard all about the sketches on your CD. Could you send me your address so I can order a copy of your CD?
